*Titans look to improve to 11-0 vs. Favre, surging Jets*

NY JETS (7-3) AT TENNESSEE (10-0), 1:00 pm EST

NASHVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) -- The Tennessee Titans just keep winning, although it's not always pretty. In fact, it usually isn't.

Kerry Collins and the Titans hope to improve to 11-0 when they face the Brett Favre-led New York Jets on Sunday.

Off to the best start in franchise history, Tennessee has found a way to win close games this season. Five of the Titans last six victories have come by 10 points or less.

Collins has been more than just a game manager in leading Tennessee to back-to-back road wins. He has thrown five of his eight touchdown passes over that stretch.

The 35-year-old Collins threw two second-half touchdowns last Sunday, rallying the Titans to a 24-14 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Collins, who took over for a physically and emotionally ailing Vince Young following the season opener, completed 13-of-23 passes for 230 yards in helping the Titans overcome a 14-3 halftime deficit.

An NFL journeyman who has played with five different teams, Collins has passed for 1,755 yards with four interceptions this season.

Favre and the Jets will bring plenty of momentum into this contest as well.

Winners of four contests in row, New York finally broke through in a big game against the New England Patriots and took over sole possession of first place in the AFC East.

Jay Feely drilled a 34-yard field goal with 7:10 left in overtime as the Jets outlasted the Patriots, 34-31, in a key division matchup last Thursday.

Favre, who called the win one of the best moments of his career, completed 26-of-33 passes for 258 yards and two touchdowns.

"They had all the momentum," the future Hall of Famer said. "They had every reason to win it. We could have easily folded so there's a lot of things in this game that happened.

"And based on the history, I'm sure most people would have been betting against us but we found a way to win the game."
